Opportunities in GISD School Health Advisory Council
The Georgetown ISD School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) currently has opportunities for interested GISD parents and community members.

The GISD SHAC assists the school district by strengthening the connection between health and learning. At the end of each school year, the SHAC has the opportunity to advise the board on health topics related to student physical/medical health, nutrition, and mental health. When needed, the SHAC also advises the board on curriculum on specific topics involving student well-being.

Please visit our website for more information and the opportunity to apply.
