From GISD Goes Gold – Supporting Pediatric Cancer Families in our District

The mission of the GISD Goes Gold Foundation is to support families of Georgetown ISD, both emotionally and financially, as they are facing a childhood cancer diagnosis. Founded by cancer parents in the district, they know the profound effect a supportive community can have on a pediatric cancer family. Funds raised go directly back into supporting these families of our community. GISD Goes Gold is able to provide financial support at diagnosis, relapse, high school gradation, or bereavement. They also work to raise awareness, especially during the month of September which is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Support this important cause by buying gold shirts and attending events during the month of September.

GISD Goes Gold is able to financially support pediatric cancer families in our community based solely on profit from t-shirt sales and donations made directly to the Foundation. To buy a shirt or make a donation, please visit their website.
