Credit by Exam is offered by Georgetown ISD for enrolled students in grades Kindergarten-12. GISD offers exams free of charge to students. The purpose of CBE testing is for acceleration (students wishing to test out of a grade or course without having prior instruction), verification (verifying credit from homeschool or non-accredited private/public school), or recovery of credit for a course in which the student has had prior instruction.

Testing is available now, and will be open until school starts. Testing during this window may result in a schedule change for the current school year.
