Veterans Day Events in GISD

Georgetown ISD is excited to continue its tradition of celebrating Veterans Day this year on Tuesday, November 11. Campuses across the district have made plans to fill this special day with parades, performances, watch parties, and more.

The public is invited to attend the following celebrations:

All events will be held on November 11 unless stated otherwise. Please keep in mind that this is not a complete list of events. We encourage you to check back frequently as we continue to add campus events.

Ford Elementary Performance & Recognition
8:30 am in the Ford Elementary Cafeteria, followed by a parade in the bus lane

McCoy Elementary Evening Choir Performance
6 pm in the McCoy Cafeteria

San Gabriel Elementary Drive through Parade
9 am in the San Gabriel Elementary Car Line

Georgetown High School Staff Recognition and Student Musical Performance
8-9 am in front of Georgetown High School 

Visitors to any campus for Veterans Day programs are encouraged to arrive early. All guests attending indoor activities are required to check in at the front desk and will need an ID.
