TELPAS Assessments: February 16 - March 13

Each year, Georgetown ISD administers the Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS) test to all Emergent Bilingual students in grade K-12. TELPAS tests are designed to measure progress that each Emergent Bilingual student makes in becoming proficient in the use of academic English.

For students in kindergarten and grade 1, trained teachers evaluate students through classroom observations. Students in grades 2-12 take TELPAS online assessments. TELPAS assessments will be administered February 16 - March 13, with makeup testing March 23-27. Each campus will share their specific testing dates with their communities.

Results from TELPAS assessments will be available in the TEA Family Portal on June 11, 2026.

You can find more information about TELPAS assessments on their website.
