Support for Our Families Following Recent Flooding

Over the past several days, our families and Central Texas neighbors have endured many hardships due to the recent flooding. Our hearts go out to those who have been impacted by loss, home damage or simply emotional distress from the devastation to our Central Texas Community.

Williamson County has shared a regularly-updated list of resources to support our community during this time. We encourage families to visit www.wilcotx.org for resources, recovery tips and helpful links.

Other resources include:

  • WILCO CARES FUND - Central Texas Community Foundation (accepting financial donations)

  • The Georgetown Project - Flood Relief Fund (accepting financial donations)

  • The United Way Greater Austin - Dial 2-1-1 to get connected with resources for food, clothing, medical assistance and shelter (any time, not just for flood relief)

GISD will continue to stand with our families and neighbors during this difficult time.
