Join GCCMA for Black History Month 2026
The Georgetown Cultural Citizen Memorial Association (GCCMA) warmly invites the community to join Black History Month celebrations throughout the month of February. This year’s events offer meaningful opportunities to reflect, learn, and connect through history, culture, the arts, and community.
Upcoming events include:
February 21 — 5:30 PM TO 7:30 PM
Black History Month Banquet – A signature evening of community gathering, cultural celebration, and reflection honoring African American achievement and progress. February 27 — 3:00 PM TO 5:00 PM
Grand Opening of the Paulette Taylor Legacy Room – A special dedication celebrating a lifetime of service, preservation, and cultural impact through exhibits and storytelling. Location: 1200 W. 17th St, Georgetown, TX 78626. Free to the public.
