From WILCO: America’s 250th Celebration
America celebrates 250 years of independence in 2026. The public is invited to celebrate America’s semiquincentennial on Sunday, June 14, at a red, white and blue birthday celebration including food, music, games and entertainment.
The free, family-friendly event will be at Old Settlers Association, 3300 E. Palm Valley Blvd., in Round Rock from 1 to 4 p.m. Free cupcakes and ice cream will be provided, with additional refreshments available for purchase from onsite food trucks.
Scheduled entertainment includes A Sock Monkey Circus puppet show, free balloon figures, Colonial-era dancers, Sun City Georgettes, Sun City Singers, patriotic face painting, colonial-era re-enactors, 1770s-themed games and a performance by the Patriotic Fife and Drum Corp during the retiring of the flags.
The event is hosted by Williamson County, the Williamson Museum and the Alexander Hamilton Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution along with the following chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution: Daniel Coleman Chapter in Georgetown; Robert Gilbert Livingston Chapter in Georgetown; and the San Gabriel Chapter in Cedar Park.
