From the Texas Baptist Children's Home Hope Counseling Program: No cost online group - Try Softer: Managing Anxiety and Stress
Texas Baptist Children’s Home will host a weekly online book study on Try Softer: Managing Anxiety and Stress. The book studies will take place on Mondays from Feb. 16 - March 30 (excluding the week of spring break)
A therapeutic class that offers a fresh approach to managing anxiety and stress by moving away from "trying harder" and instead focusing on self-compassion, body-mind connection, and setting boundaries. The book provides practical exercises, drawing on psychology and personal experience, to help move out of survival mode and into a life of greater connection and joy by learning to listen to our bodies and emotions rather than fighting them. Facilitated by Courtney Peters.
The book is provided by Texas Baptist Children's Home.
