Calling all high schoolers!

Interested in learning more about the justice system? Want to try your hand at being an attorney or fill in as a juror for your peers? You should check out the award-winning Georgetown Teen Court program: https://www.georgetowntexas.gov/government/municipal_court/resources/teen_court.php

Program details:

✔️For high school students

✔️September-May

✔️3 hours, two Monday evenings per month

✔️Apply to be a teen defense or prosecuting attorney in September

✔️Defend or prosecute teens charged with Class C misdemeanors

✔️Always recruiting for volunteer, teen jurors

The Georgetown Teen Court program just wrapped its 32nd year with:

⚖️35 teen attorneys

⚖️10 jurors

⚖️91% completion rate for defendants

⚖️Nearly 1,900 hours of community service
