Early Release Tomorrow Dec. 5 - Elementary Only

Reminder for Elementary Families only:
December 5 is an early release day for elementary students. The elementary school day will end at 12:55 pm. This change was made to support a focus on collaboration and planning among teachers and parents. 

There is one remaining elementary-only early release date scheduled during the school year:

• February 6, 2026

These dates are noted on the printed calendars that were sent home with back-to-school flyers and also on our website at ww.georgetownisd.org/calendar. 

Childcare Support for Families:
We understand that schedule changes can affect family routines. To help, the YMCA will offer childcare on all early release days – including the newly added ones – for both:

• Families already enrolled in YMCA programs; and

• Families who only need care on early release days.
